Boat Booking Procedure
We will give you our charter offer with all available boats in compliance with your request shortly after receiving your charter order. If selecting the boat you want to book, we recommend that you double-check the equipment list. Now is the time to check them out if you have any questions or special requests.
We will give you all the required charter documentation (contract, lease terms, terms of payment, and crew list form) when you decide to book the cruise. You will sign the charter contract and make the payment according to the terms of payment within 2 to 5 days (depending on early or last minute booking). Your charter reservation will be verified upon receipt of the signed contract and pay in advance.
We will need a copy of the skipper’s license and VHF certificate before booking for a bareboat charter. Originals must be shown at the marina check-in.
We will need filled passenger lists and information about the estimated time of your arrival at the charter base several weeks before the yacht rental. With this knowledge, we can organize the check-in time easily and quickly.
With some boat owners, you can book a transfer from/to the airport, order a supply of yachts or other services.
In the end, you’ll get a boat takeover voucher with all the information you need about the foundation.
To summarize the booking procedure:
- you select the boat you want and let us know of the extras (skipper, cook, snorkeling equipment,…)
- we send you offer for the boat and extras
- you confirm the offer over email
- we put an option on the boat for you (option is a non-obligatory pre-booking for couple of days, until we receive payment, so the boat stays free for you)
- you pay for booking via bank transfer
- we send payment confirmation to you
Option on a boat – temporary reservation
You can either confirm the booking or request an option if you agree with our bid. Options have a maximum duration of seven days and are given on request. Other charterers will not be able to book the boat during the option period. If the expiration date of the option should be extended, please contact us as we will try to extend it.
Please note: the option duration is a maximum of 3 days during the high season or a few days before the start of the charter.
Confirmation of reservation / Contract
We will give you a Charter contract via fax or e-mail when you confirm your reservation. The specifics of the account and directions for payment will be sent with the agreement. Your choice (temporary booking) will take a few more days to allow ample time for the payment to arrive.
Please sign and pass your deposit payment of 50% of the total charter fee to our bank account once you have obtained the contract. A signed copy of the Charter contract should be returned to us along with a copy of the receipt from the bank. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit, and we will mail you two signed copies of our Charter Contract. You will sign all copies, then give us a copy as soon as possible. The charter fee balance is due four weeks before your departure date.
If the booking is made within four weeks of the scheduled departure date, the total charter fee should be charged on the booking day.
Refundable Security Deposit Payments
The Refundable Security Deposit, is payable by cash or credit card at the base before boat boarding.
You are required to submit personal details for the contract to make a reservation, including full name, address, e-mail/fax number, passport number.
All our clients ‘ privacy is respected (please read the Privacy Statement). With the terms of the General Charter and our bank account details, we will plan and give you a contract.
The last three days after receiving our contract (offer), correspondence must be signed and sent back to us by e-mail: I email@example.com, along with payment of 50% of the total price indicated.
We will immediately send you a confirmation via e-mail as soon as we receive your down payment and confirm your reservation.
The balance payment of 50% must be made no later than four weeks before the start date of the contract, about which we will remind you. We will give you confirmation and charter embarkation information once we receive the full number.
